One of the more surprising announcements made at The Game Awards was that of The Last Campfire, a colorful yet somber adventure game from Hello Games. It seems that two members of the No Man’s Sky team have been able find some time to craft this harrowing yet hopeful little experience. Dubbed a “Hello Games Short” in the announcement trailer below, you will carry an ember on an adventure through a strange land, while meeting equally strange creatures. That’s all we really know about it right now, they still have to announce a release date and platforms. Although you can add it to your wish list on Steam right now, so we can at least expect it to come to PC.

For more information on The Last Campfire you can watch the trailer below and stay tuned to Voxel Voice.

I remember playing Super Mario Bros. and Metroid on the NES with my older brother, and never being able to land on the aircraft carrier in Top Gun. I faked being sick so I could stay home from school and play Quake II once, but now I request days off from work instead of lying. Age of Empires II is still the best RTS, Half-Life is still the best FPS, and I still think the end of Mass Effect 3 was great!
