Oriental Empires, a new 4x turn-based strategy game set in ancient China, will release on Steam on September 14th, almost a year after it launched in Early Access. Oriental Empires shares similarities with other turn-based strategy game series like Civilization and Total War. You will begin by settling a meager tribe that will slowly grow into a prosperous empire through technology, culture, and religion. Smart use of diplomacy and conquest will be key to victory as you vie for control of ancient China.
Oriental Empires is being developed by Shining Pixel Studios and is being published by Iceberg Interactive. It has received an overall positive reception on Steam since it launched in Early Access last year. The final version of the game will allow you to join in online matches with up to 15 players. You will also be able to play through historic scenarios that occurred during the era in addition to the grand campaign.
