In light of Warhorse Studios announcing a co-publishing partnership with Deep Silver to bring Kingdom Come: Deliverance to a global market, they also released a flurry of amazing looking screenshots showing off the game’s many aspects.

One interesting picture is of a real world location and how it compares to an in-engine reproduction, I had a hard time telling the difference.

In-engine vs. real world.

From day one, the pitch for Kingdom Come: Deliverance was to deliver a medieval action-role playing game with an emphasis on authenticity. There will be no magic, monsters, or other fantasy elements in Kingdom Come: Deliverance. It will feature an in-depth combat system as well as period-accurate alchemy and smithing. The game’s Kickstarter campaign was funded well above it’s original goal and as such the game has grown in scope and presentation, however, the core experience has remained intact.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance is scheduled to release on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 some time in 2017. PC players who backed the game’s Kickstarter have been able to test out alpha and beta versions the game for some time now.

Keep an eye on Voxel Voice for more info on the game as it becomes available.

Also, here are the rest of screenshots that depict some of the cities and forests you will be exploring in Kingdom Come: Deliverance, as well as some action shots.

I remember playing Super Mario Bros. and Metroid on the NES with my older brother, and never being able to land on the aircraft carrier in Top Gun. I faked being sick so I could stay home from school and play Quake II once, but now I request days off from work instead of lying. Age of Empires II is still the best RTS, Half-Life is still the best FPS, and I still think the end of Mass Effect 3 was great!
