Action-RPG Vikings – Wolves of Midgard Gets a New Gameplay Trailer

Kalypso Media and developer Games Farm just released a new gameplay trailer for their upcoming action-RPG Vikings – Wolves of Midgard. The trailer showcases fierce combat against a variety terrifying beasts. Vikings – Wolves of Midgard takes place in the titular land of Midgard, and will feature enemies and environments from Viking mythology. The game boasts top-down isometric combat made popular by games like Diablo and Baldur’s Gate, and also features online co-op, so you can team up with a friend to take down the horrors that await you.

Launching on PlayStation®4, Xbox One, Windows PC, Mac and Linux in early 2017, Vikings – Wolves of Midgard will transport you to the Shores of Midgard, a world based upon the mythology and history of the Vikings. Battle the fearsome Jotan, hordes of terrifying undead monstrosities and other myriad beasts of Ragnarok, either on your own or by teaming up with a friend via the online co-op multiplayer mode. Master mighty weapons, including sword and shield, two-handed hammers, dual-wielded axes and swift bows. I remember playing Super Mario Bros. and Metroid on the NES with my older brother, and never being able to land on the aircraft carrier in Top Gun. I faked being sick so I could stay home from school and play Quake II once, but now I request days off from work instead of lying. Age of Empires II is still the best RTS, Half-Life is still the best FPS, and I still think the end of Mass Effect 3 was great!
